Refunds
A full refund of the course fee will only be
made if a class does not start or closes due to
insufficient people signing up. Once a course
has started we are unable to give a refund under
any circumstances. This is because course fees
play an important role in the decision about the
viability of a course. We will consider applications
for a refund prior to a course starting provided
we have at least 7 days notice and we are able
to fill the place on the course. These refunds
are subject to a £10 administration fee. In some
circumstances we may offer a voucher to the
value of the course.

Helping you pay
All of our courses are individually priced and most
courses have 3 prices. The first is the full price,
which most people will pay, the second for those
claiming the state pension and the third for those
on means tested benefits. If there is only one price
shown then this applies to everyone, and there are
no discounts.

Worried about fees and charges?
We know that for some people being able to take
part in adult education is only possible if they
receive assistance towards the costs of tuition,
exam fees, travel, books, materials and childcare.

Can I spread the cost of my payments?
Yes! For all courses over £100 you can pay in 4
instalments, an initial deposit to secure your place
followed by 3 payments by direct debit. Our easy
payment plans enable you to spread the cost of the
course, but if 4 instalments is still too expensive
then please contact us to discuss other flexible
means of payment. If you are planning to pay by
direct debit then we can only do this face to face or
over the telephone.

Changing my mind if I have signed up online or
over the phone.
If you sign up for the course over the telephone
or on line then you have 14 days in which to
change your mind and we will give you a full
refund. However this does not apply if the course
starts within the 14 day period or you apply after
the course has started. Once the course has
started you will not receive a refund.
