How to Scan QR Codes
A Quick Response code is a barcode that can be scanned using a smartphone or tablet to quickly access information , websites , or other digital content . QR codes are becoming increasingly popular for their ease of use and ability to store a large amount of data . For modern smartphone devices :
• Launch the camera app on your smart phone .
• Hold your phone steady and point the camera at the QR code . Make sure the code is within the frame .
• Your camera will automatically detect the QR code and display a notification at the screen .
• Tap the notification to open the link or content associated with the QR code .
For older smartphones that do not have built-in QR code scanning capabilities :
• Open your device ’ s app store
• Download a QR scanner
