NEW Introduction to
Watercolor Painting
After a basic introduction to the
watercolor tools, learn how to
create, blend, and shape colors
with brush strokes, splattering,
sponge, masking tape, salt, and
palette knife. Learn various brush
strokes and brush techniques that
create textures. No prior painting
experience is required but don't
let the word introduction fool you.
Intermediate-level students will gain
a lot of great information as well. All
supplies are included in the class fee.

paint quick and easy landscapes with
watercolor. You will be surprised
how you can really capture the
atmosphere of a scene. Leave this
class knowing the techniques needed
for painting skies, backgrounds,
foregrounds, and trees. Brushes and
watercolors will be provided by the

NEW Decorating Ukrainian Eggs
Mosaic Gazing Ball
Spring has sprung! Imagine a mosaic
glass gazing ball of your unique
design, tucked amongst the blooms
of your garden. All glass will be cut
and ready for you to begin your
project. Now is the time to scout
thrift shops, look in your closets, or
post a note on a company bulletin
board for an old bowling ball that
you will need to bring to class.
Please note, Community Education
has three bowling balls available, call
651-748-7250 to reserve one. Put
on the finishing touches during the
second class. Wear old clothes and
bring two old towels to the second
class. A supply fee of $25 is due to
the instructor in class.

what tools are needed, how to create a design, and even practice the wax-
resist dyeing method on your own egg. This can be a wonderful way to start
