Adult Basic Education
Prepare for a future career in the
Information Technology (IT) field.
Students may begin this free course
at any time and certification tests are
offered onsite.
No experience? No problem. We
start with basic computer skills
development.
Once you've learned essential
computer skills, you may begin
training for the Microsoft Office
Specialist Certificate. A Microsoft
Office Specialist (MOS) certificate
is earned when passing any three
Certiport assessments.
After earning the MOS certificate,
we will cover the curriculum that
prepares students for the CompTIA
A+ certification. This certificate will
qualify students to work in the IT
field as Tier 1 Helpdesk Support
Professionals.
Join our free ParaPro study class.
We offer testing for adults seeking
employment as paraprofessionals
in a school district. Financial
assistance may be available for the
test fee if you are applying to be a
paraprofessional in District 622.
Train for an entry level position
as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
We work with local Senior Housing
and assisted living and memory

employment. Employers may offer
teacher-supported study program
tuition assistance and flexible

to earn a CDL permit: a general

available through School District
622 after the CDL permit has been
obtained.
