Culinary ! NEW Hooray for Hot Dish The hot dish is the one-dish wonder that graces dinner tables weekly. These easy prep recipes are great for a family meal, but can also be impressive, elegant company fare or potluck crowd-pleasers. Many of the recipes can be made ahead, chilled, then baked. We will create up to 15 sensational dishes (depending on class size). Beef, pork and sauerkraut, pork loin with dried apricots and cherries, beef and spinach (or broccoli), eggplant and cheese, chicken cobbler with carrots, mushrooms and peas, lentils and vegetables, and baked penne pasta with chicken, broccoli and mushrooms, just to name a few. Students should bring a large bowl, a sturdy spoon or whisk, a pastry cloth or dishtowel and one bag each of whole wheat and unbleached flour. All other ingredients will be provided.
