Full Moon Lunar Eclipse

Snowshoe, Sip and Sample
Gather with others to watch the total
lunar eclipse, also known as a blood
moon, while enjoying snowshoeing.
Warm up with hot chocolate and
s’mores by the campfire as you
watch the moon slowly disappear
and turn red with totality at 10:41
pm. Light appetizers will also be
available inside the Discovery Center.
Fee includes snowshoes, but you
can also bring your own. When
registering, indicate if you will need
snowshoes. Wahoo! Adventures
Celebrate Valentine’s weekend with friends, family, snowshoeing, and fun!
The evening includes full moon snowshoeing on luminary lit trails, bonfire,
appetizer sampling and food demonstration from Hy-Vee, locally crafted
beverages, samples selected by local experts at Bright Wines, vintage game
room, and prize drawings every 30 minutes. This is a great way to enjoy
winter! Participants must be 21 or older to attend. Take advantage of early
registration and save $6 per person. Wahoo! Adventures

Family Snowshoe with Ice
Luminaries
Enjoy the trails of Oakdale Nature
Preserve at night with the moon and
stars overhead. One trail will be lit
with ice luminaries to follow through
the woods, but you can enjoy the
whole park. Gather by the bonfire
for ghost stories, hot chocolate, and
roasted marshmallows afterward.
Fee includes snowshoes, but you
can also bring your own. When
registering, indicate if you will need
snowshoes and either adult or youth
size. Wahoo! Adventures
