Rock Weaving
Weaving on rocks, who thought that
was possible? It is, with a few basic
techniques and the right equipment!
But not just any rock will do, it must
have a smooth surface and flat
bottom. This happens when there
is constant sufficient wave action in
the body of water. The rocks we will
be using were gathered by hand on
the banks of the Yellowstone River
in Montana. Sizes will vary because
no two rocks are alike! These will be
large enough to be used for paper
weights. Jill Scarpari
