MPR’ s Chris Farrell: Unretirement
Spend an evening with Minnesota Public Radio’ s Chris Farrell as he discusses the topic of his new book“ Unretirement: How Baby Boomers Are Changing the Way We Think About Work, Community and the Good Life.” Hear a new vision of the elder years, less a model of disengagement from work and neighborhoods to one of continuing engagement in work and community. Chris will be signing copies of his book. Books will be available for optional purchase for $ 18 at the event. Register early, space is limited. Conversation with Christine
Superintendent Christine Osorio will host a meet and greet at Gladstone, on Friday, Oct 7 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm. Come meet this dynamic leader, learn about the upcoming levy, and the district’ s direction for the 2016- 2017 school year. This informal gathering will include a few short remarks from Superintendent Osorio, followed by time for an open question and answer period. Light refreshments will be served. Interpreters available upon request( please call 651-748-7232 to request). No RSVP is required to attend.
