Fused Glass - Flower Bowl
Celebrate spring creating a beautiful flower bowl ! After learning about the process , the components and tools , you will embellish your basic bowl design with glass frit , stringers , bits of dichroic glass and pebbles . Your project will be fired twice so plan on picking up your flower bowl at the instructor ' s home studio about 8-10 days after the class . Hot Mosaics - Fused Glass Creations
Two forms of glass art in one creative evening ! Welding : Create a Garden Sculpture
Learn about the history of welding and the TIG welding process as you create your own welded garden sculpture featuring a wrapped stone . The TIG process adheres metal to metal without sticks , rods or wire . Safety first : do not wear shorts , dresses or open toed shoes . Do wear jeans , a long sleeved cotton shirt , and closed toed leather shoes or boots . Bring leather work gloves and a stone about the size of your fist .
