55 + Defensive Driving – 8 hour
Review the rules of the road and learn new information regarding today ' s cars , and update your driving skills . Those over the age of 55 qualify to receive a 10 percent discount on their auto insurance following completion of this 8-hour basic course . This course is a live online presentation that is offered in two four hour sessions . You must attend both sessions to qualify for the discount . Two viewing options available : You may come to Gladstone to view the presentation on our large screen ( AEDDBGlad ) or you may watch from the comfort of your home on your computer or tablet ( AEDDBZoom ). To maintain this discount , a 4-hour refresher course is required every three years after the initial 8-hour course . Register at least 1 week before the class , no walk-ins . If you are registering for the Zoom option , you will need to stop by Gladstone by 6 / 2 / 23 to pick up the required booklet for the class .

Instructors are managed by the Minnesota Safety Council .
