Kayaking is one of Minnesota ' s fastest growing outdoor activities . Practice getting in / out of the kayak and learn to paddle correctly and gain confidence on the water by taking this introductory class . Single kayak , paddle and lifejacket provided . Grab a friend and meet up for morning coffee and fun . Time on the water is a great way to leave your worries behind , relax and recharge your batteries . Lake Rebecca is an oxbow lake with a great view of the lock and dam in Hastings as well as an abundance of wildlife for viewing . Dress in layers for time on the water . Wear shoes that can get wet . Glide across the water of Square Lake under the glow of a Strawberry Moon . This kayaking adventure would be suitable for adults and children ages 12 and up . The group will stay together while kayaking and after , gather on shore for fresh strawberries and strawberry lemonade . Dress in layers for time on the water . Wear shoes that can get wet . Bring bug spray and a flashlight to tape to your kayak . If bringing own equipment also bring kayak , paddle , lifejacket .
