“I bought $1700 worth of essential
oils today!” she told him. Tyler gave

you.” Heidi looks back on this ironic
moment with fondness, grateful that
Tyler has always been willing to let her
follow her dreams.
A few days passed before Heidi’s kit
arrived, and in that time she started
second-guessing her purchase. When
her box finally arrived, she was reluctant
to open what she thought would amount
to be some very expensive cleaners.
However, as soon as she opened the

Look for individuals you love to spend time with and can see yourself
working alongside. A good relationship is a great starting point.
Invite potential builders to a three-way call with you and one of
your uplines. I call these business exploratory calls. Let them hear your upline’s
experience and the real numbers. It will make the possibilities seem within reach.
Speak from your heart and share the ways in which your life has
changed. The numbers and structure—while powerful—are likely less compelling
than your genuine desire to bless this person’s life.
While Heidi had never intended to sell the
oils, those first few weeks with the oils in
her home gave her an infectious joy and
natural confidence to share these amazing
products. One inspired decision to invest
in natural wellness propelled her into a
business venture that changed not only
her life and her family’s life, but thousands
of other lives as well. “I was completely
happy with my life as a stay-at-home mom,
