What adjustments did you have to make to reach Presidential Diamond? Jessica: I love what Tiffany Peterson says,“ New level, new devil.” I like this because I had to be consistently growing and improving myself to achieve a higher level. At each rank, you have to get out of your own way because it is easy to switch your mindset to think,“ I can’ t be successful because my husband works,” or“ I can’ t be successful because we have kids,” or whatever the reason. When you stop saying excuses, you get up and you go.
Clay: As we grew, we had to change our mindset so that we knew that we deserved this and that we could achieve that next goal. Once we got out of our own way, it just happened.
What challenge have you faced being a Presidential Diamond, and how have you overcome it? Clay: The challenge I think is trying to still remain personable— trying to keep the relationships with as many people as you can. But, I think that we have remained approachable because we are the same people that we were when we started this journey. We just are who we are.
