Balanced Scorecard 1 How would you describe your Action Learning Project and the difference you hope it will make to advance your organization’s mission (or the field) and benefit the individuals you serve? My Action Learning Project is to be developed to help my organization’s leaders to be more focused on a big picture plan. A Balanced Scorecard is a management system that will allow our organization to focus on strategic planning and align our plans towards achievable goals. The system will help us focus on four perspectives (Financial, Learning and Growth/Human Capital, Internal Business Processes, and Customers). Each perspective will have Critical Key Performance Indicators that will be identified to help us continue to manage our operations and enable us to achieve our Mission, Vision, and Goals. 2 How have the relationships you’ve developed as part of your project (with mentors, partners, stakeholders, etc.) influenced this direction and you as a leader? As a leader in my organization, I see that leaders create the future. We have many roles to fill, and recognizing that we can’t do it all alone; we need to have the ability to guide and influence others to do the right things to meet the needs of our community. I understand that we need to build a good working relationship with our staff, partnering with suppliers and vendors, and collaborating with stakeholders and community leaders, of which are the keys to our business success. 3 What have been important turning points for you, in your own learning, as you’ve engaged with the action learning process (you might consider a surprise, insight, setback, or challenge)? As a leader, I am committed to do the right things for our staff and the healthcare community. My goal in leadership is to provide the best quality of care within the healthcare community. With all that said, it does require our business to have good systems in place. Our staff needs to work together as a team. We need to have the culture that embraces and share the same value systems. As challenging as it is, developing the right Balanced Scorecard I feel will help cr
