About the submitter of the project in a nutshell:
Rural Territory of Grobiņa is a municipality in Kurzeme that was
developed due to the administratively territorial reform. Council
of the Rural Territory of Grobiņa was established in July 1, 2009,
when the Town of Grobiņa of the former District of Liepāja were
united with the rural territories of Bārta, Gavieze, Grobiņa and
Medze.
Project description:
Nine new elements of the exercising field were set up within
the frameworks of the project – parallel balls, walker, devices
for training of the stomach muscles, balance bar, moving bridge,
climbing wall, balance swings, two-piece Swedish wall and
three-piece pull-up horizontal bar with various heights. Also 5
new outside trainers suitable for strengthening of muscles of
legs, back, arms, chest, stomach, shoulders and general muscularity were set up. An informative stand is placed by the outside
trainers sector indicating correct usage principles of the trainers,
providing info about muscle groups and general usage provisions.
Therefore a substantial improvement has been achieved as to
the sports activity and recreational options of the locals, as well
as aesthetically appealing, orderly and friendly environment has
been created.
