Society “Jura Staļļi” is a non-governmental organisation that was
registered in 11.04.2000.
All those 13 years society were engaged into promotion of active and
healthy lifestyle among young people. At the beginning of its operation priority was horse riding sports where our athletes succeeded
not only in Latvia but also in many places abroad but within time we
changed our strategy and set leisure time activities for children, young
people and families with children as our priority that is not only
related to horses but also provides broader and more varied active
recreation possibilities.

While implementing this project we set up two air funicular routes
with various degrees of complexity. First was meant for children up to
12 years of age and second – to more grown up children, youngsters
and adults. Project really was implemented at the right time and right
place as recognition and attendance of the locals serve as evidence for
this – during the first year of operation 986 people visited the route.
Air route “Spārnotais zirgs” (Pegasus) that was developed due to the
project is accessible to every inhabitant of rural territory of Grobiņa,
as well as guests. Two new working places were developed within the
frameworks of the project. Project has also positively impacted the
outer environment as tree avenue with centenarian trees has been
put into order during the implementation of the project. The newly
formed air route “Spārnotais zirgs” is a modern and contemporary
leisure and recreational spot for locals.
