About the submitter of the project in a nutshell:
Municipality of the rural territory of Priekule were established in 2009
within the frameworks of the administrative territorial reform when the town
of Priekule were joint with the rural municipalities of Bunka, Gramzda, Kalēti,
Priekule and Virga; it is located in the former district of Liepāja.
Main directions of the activities of municipality: provision of educational
options for inhabitants, including, managerial and financial help for the extracurricular educational and upbringing institutions, as well as educational
support institutions, provision of the accessibility of health care and promotion of the healthy lifestyle and availability of sports activities to the locals;
promotion of economical activities in the respective administrative territory.

Biggest height of the artificial mountain climbing wall is 8.75 meters, total space
that can be used for the climbing including side planes is 91.67m2; wall consists
of six separate climbing paths with upper safety anchor points, as well as bouldering walls where it is possible to climb without the safety equipment. Biggest
expansion of the overhang (overhang) is in the upper part from the wall of the
hall – 1.25m, in the lower part maximum indent from the existing wall is 615
mm. Climbing wall was designed and set up accordingly to the Latvian standard
LVS EN 12572-1:2007. When the climbing wall was launched tests lead by the
independent expert were performed accordingly to the standard. All documentation is received, technical project, route scheme, compliance declaration and
wall passport. Also the wall is marked with the plate of the manufacturer.
After implementation of the project every inhabitant of the rural territory of
Priekule and visitor of the multifunctional sports hall of Priekule gets the chance
to spend their free time while using the climbing wall (with various degrees of
complexity) and the purchased alpinism equipment. A possibility is made to
