Publisher ' s Foreword
Homeowner sentiment can have an impact on property prices in security estate communities .
Homeowner sentiment refers to the overall mood , attitudes and opinions of homeowners in a particular community . When homeowners are positive and optimistic about their community , it can lead to higher demand for properties in that community , which in turn can lead to higher property prices . Conversely , when homeowner sentiment is negative , it can lead to lower demand for properties in the community , which can in turn lead to lower property prices .
Homeowner sentiment could be interpreted as community spirit , where a resident has a sense of belonging , connection and shared identity , and feels part of a community . It is characterised by a willingness to support and help others in the community , a sense of pride and ownership in community events and initiatives , and a commitment to working together to achieve shared goals and objectives .
What does Estate Living do for your community ?
The focus of our business , Estate Living , is to build a sense of community spirit in the property sector on an international level . Community spirit is an important part of creating a strong and supportive environment in which the industry can grow and all stakeholders can build , work , live , play , educate and retire , and can collectively experience the benefits of the value chain built around the property sector .
This is how we are building community spirit :

Celebrating diversity – We embrace the diversity of the community , by hosting a variety of events and encouraging all members to participate .
Creating volunteer opportunities – Estate Living volunteers for associations and upliftment projects . We encourage community members to volunteer for local organisations and events . This helps to foster a sense of ownership and responsibility towards the community .
Organising community events – Estate Living organises events that bring people together , such as residents ' events , business forums or management breakfasts . These events provide opportunities for community members to interact and get to know one another .
Encouraging local businesses – We support local businesses , and create events and environments that encourage them to participate in community events . This helps to build relationships between business owners and community members , and promotes economic development in the community .
Creating a sense of pride – We encourage community members to take pride in their community by sharing with us , to promote their local achievements , landmarks and cultural heritage .
Overall , building community spirit requires effort and participation from all community members . By promoting open communication , celebrating diversity , encouraging volunteering , organising community events , supporting local businesses , and fostering a sense of pride , a strong community spirit can be built .
