to the Shepherd just the way they are in transparent repentance will be held and loved back to life . But first , you have to let go , and you have to be still enough to be held .
In my darkest days I was tempted to give up . I ’ m so glad that I didn ’ t , and I don ’ t want you to , either . The bottom line for every one of us is that God holds all the missing pieces to our stories . If we ’ re willing to get a bigger picture of who God is and who we are , we ’ ll see that no matter how we feel , our lives are not out of control . They may be out of comfort at times , we may be out of answers , we may be filled with pain , but our lives are not out of control .
“ Yet I am confident I will see the Lord ’ s goodness while I am here in the land of the living . Wait patiently for the Lord . Be brave and courageous . Yes , wait patiently for the Lord .” Psalm 27:13-14 ( NLT )
