The temptation of our hearts to receive our affirmation from man more than God will be ongoing , but greater than those temptations is the Spirit who lives and breathes and speaks and forms the words of Christ inside us — words that lead us to an honest view of ourselves , which leads to an honest desire to reflect Jesus as our gentle and lowly Shepherd .
