Hear this : just because you messed up in your past does not mean that you are a mess-up . The fact that somebody in your history did not want you does not mean that you are unlovable by everyone in your future . Being let go of your job does not mean certain bankruptcy . Even bankruptcy does not mean the end of you . Your struggles today do not make you someone God cannot use . In other words , the fact that something is not perfect in your past or present does not mean that you cannot realize your dreams and all that God has for you .
No , God ’ s Word is more real than what you feel ! It is your ultimate reality , and the only real interpreter of what your past , present and future mean . You must set your mind on this truth . It is the first step to ending your battles .
