You could argue this was the approach Steve Jobs used in the early days or Apple , and then in the later years when he was “ selling ” the idea of the iPhone . He always started with the “ wow ” factor and explained the why . He wouldn ’ t bother with detailed specifications or pricing charts . In fact , he would often leave that to someone else to explain later .

If your idea is amazing and worth considering , it is worth pumping it up quickly and ending right on time . Spend the last minute wrapping things up and asking for questions . You ’ ll be surprised when you use this technique to sell an idea of how much everyone sticks with you .
To sell your idea , provide just enough insight to inspire action . Wow your audience with a story , capturing their attention and captivating them with an interesting antidote . It ’ s okay to provide some depth for a few minutes , but then move quickly to the final step in the process .
