prosperity , while evil and idolatrous kings brought destruction and chaos .
Practicing good politics is a way of loving your neighbor . God calls his people to be salt and light in every part of the world — from their own house to the White House . Politics matters because politics are a tangible way of loving our neighbors and shaping our world . We might not always know what policies work best , but we ’ re called to use our wisdom and creativity in politics , just like we would in business , church , or our family .
say , “ Not relevant for Christians ,” we dishonor God and hurt our neighbors . Our freedoms , and most of our justice reforms ( like women ’ s suffrage and the Civil Rights Movement ), were anchored in a biblical worldview . Christians need to be involved !
