to “ put in place .” In our home , we often repeat the common phrase “ a place for everything , and everything in its place .” Once you have decided what belongs on the stage of your home , you need to make sure that it has a place to be stored when not in use . From cutlery to candles , or paintings to pillow shams , everything that you use needs its own place to call home . I personally prefer to organize all my furnishings in labeled plastic tubs , which I end up storing in my attic . That way it is much easier for me to make quick seasonal shifts in my home without needing to dig through piles of decor . Setting your stage and putting everything in its place are the two easiest ways to keep your home feeling fresh and ready for something new .
