“ What am I carrying that I could give to God”? Some days, I rush from when I wake to when my workday ends. I can go for days like this, relying on my knowledge and understanding, just pushing forward, looking at what ' s in front of me, and not addressing what ' s sustaining me.
Proverbs 3:5-6 says, " Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." Before we can surrender our burdens, we must trust the one we are surrendering to. Do you trust God to carry your burdens? Do you believe His understanding of our lives, needs, and future is better than our own?
