Malachi is telling us that when God rids the world of evil , violence , pain , and suffering , we will all be healed , and we will be filled with a joy unimaginable . When Jesus returns , everything that is good , true , and beautiful will be forever restored . And we ’ ll leap with joy like the young calves in Malachi ’ s prophecy .
The peace Jesus extends to us now is real , and we will experience it fully in the life to come . So let ’ s wait in eager anticipation , hearts full of faith , for the sun of righteousness with healing in his wings .
