there, even if the roles have changed and even if you now live far apart. No longer are you in a position of authority over them. Your relationship is now more peer to peer, adult to adult. Learn to embrace and enjoy that change. It’ s God’ s way, and it should be our way too. Now, by God’ s grace, you can enjoy a growing, mutually encouraging relationship with your adult children for years to come.
