These relationships are so important in the books that you can envision Tolkien thinking about the friends with whom he went to war — the way those relationships , those partnerships were emblazoned on his very core . And while I don ’ t mean to suggest that starting a business is the same as fighting in the trenches of World War I , the idea of a shared experience is there , and it ’ s available for anyone willing to partner with someone else . Because business is its own battle . And the people you ’ re fighting alongside will forever define your experience .
