As Christian leaders , how do we respond ?
It ’ s difficult to comprehend that one in seven Christians worldwide face suffering for their faith . It ’ s even harder to wrap your head around your response to this reality . Yet God says if one part of the Body suffers , the rest of the Body suffers ( 1 Corinthians 12:26 ). Here are three ways you can respond and walk alongside your persecuted family : ministry are unaware of the egregious violence that Christians face for their decision to follow Jesus . Unless they are informed , they will never know .
• Finally , you can help support the work and ministries of organizations like Open Doors that are strengthening the Church to stand for Christ , whatever the cost .
• First , pray for these nations ; Jesus hears our prayers as we plead for His mercy , protection and transformation .
