The choice seems obvious ; however , fear and insecurities keep many of us stuck in the same place , relying on those we think are smarter , more successful , or more spiritual to tell us what they see . Here ’ s what I need you to do : Take a step . With all your worries about not making the right choice , start to move in the direction of what God is calling you to . That may look like following the unction to call someone even though you ’ re not sure what to say and having them say , “ I was just in need of prayer , and I didn ’ t know who to call .”

With every timid step you take you get closer and closer , and your vision becomes clearer , and clarity gives you the ability to choose . Uncertainty is not an indication that you should sit tight . Making a move is how you get clearer . Even if that clarity is to sit tight . Either way you have just moved from unsure to I ’ m sure . Take small steps . They count too . Not every move has to be the kinds of big leaps that are popularized on social media . The more you practice moving , the better you ’ ll get at discerning if it is Holy Spirit telling you to move .
3 . Resolved : I Know Whose I Am
A huge weight is lifted off your shoulders when you know whose you are . I am totally team faith and works , but within all your doing there must be room for the divine . Some of you are wired to do it all . You ’ ve been nurtured into an unhealthy modality of being the one you depend on to get things done . But we ’ ve unboxed that already , and I implore you to not turn back . There is religion , and then there is relationship . If you have been reading and you are familiar with Christianity but not Christ , I would like to take this opportunity to lead you out of religion and into a relationship with Jesus Christ . Religion says , “ I believe there ’ s a God .” Relationship says , “ He is my God .” Religion invites God into special moments . Relationship walks with God daily in all the moments . Which perspective is yours ? If you have never made a personal commitment to living with and for Jesus Christ or if you have walked away from your relationship with Jesus but remained religious , I would like to invite you into a relationship with Jesus right now by leading you in this simple prayer . If you are already a daughter , then pray along too . I love moments like these when I get to renew my commitment .
