But they didn ’ t . They pushed past their fears and pressed in for more miracles . They kept taking it higher , until the sorcerers and magicians were humiliated and finally that stubborn , stiff-necked , baby-killing tyrant lost his grip on God ’ s people . The Israelites left Egypt loaded down with wealth , a payment for four hundred years of slavery .
This is the power of SQ , and the privilege of all those who walk in the Spirit . We can go deeper in and take it higher and win , yet we also have to stay aware of pirates , hackers and deceivers as we learn and grow in the Spirit . The more we move in the power of the Spirit , the greater threat we will be to the kingdom of darkness . It is therefore important that we understand the devious ways of the devil , so that we can stay free of his devices and destroy his works .
