DIJALEKTI PICIGIN
Iako je Hrvatska relativno mala
država, ima mnogo različitih
dijalekta, zbog kojih se ljudi iz
različitih dijalektnih govornih
sredina teze sporazumijevaju. "Picigin" je hrvatski tradicionalni
amaterski sport koji se igra loptom
na pješčanoj plaži, u plićaku.
Picigin je začet u Splitu, a cilj igre
je dodavati se lopticom udarajući
je dlanovima, nastojeći pri tom da
loptica ne dotakne more.
DIALECTS
Even though Croatia is a small
country, Croatia has many different
dialects. Those dialects can make it
difficult for Croatians to understand
one another.

CENTAR SVIJETA
ŠUME
Jedna trećina Hrvatske je
prekrivena šumama. U šumi hrasta
lužnjaka u Istri, pod korijenjem
stogodišnjih hrastova rastu
najskuplje gljive na svijetu - tartufi.
FOREST
One-third of Croatia territory
is covered in forest. In the oak
forest in Istra, that is more than
100 years old, the most expensive
mushrooms can be found.

London, Pariz, LA, Tokyo, čak ni New
York City nemaju titulu centra svijeta,
već Ludbreg mali grad u Hrvatskoj.
CENTRE OF THE WORLD
If someone asks you which city is
centre of the world, we bet that you
will say London, Paris, LA, Tokyo,
New York City, or another big city.
Probably you will have guessed it
wrong. The centre of the world is
Ludbreg small town in Croatia, which
literally holds claim to this title.
