largely intact in many areas ( see Section 3.2 ). Changes to the riparian zones in extensive rangeland areas have been more subtle , with riparian zones being influenced by stock access ( grazing , trampling and compaction ), weeds and feral animals , and not necessarily woody vegetation removal .
