BRIEF SUMMARY
� Seeks to provide extension and funding to advance farmer practices beyond industry best management practice( BMP) and fast track the implementation of innovative practices.
� Offers a balanced and integrated approach to provision of technical support / training and funding to implement best management plans, with aim of reducing erosion loss from grazing lands.
ELIGIBILITY AND FURTHER DETAILS
� Closing date for applications end May 2018.
� Applies to graziers within Upper Burdekin, Lower Burdekin, Bowen-Broken-Bogie and Don basins who have completed all 5 BMP modules, to help them implement projects directly related to improving water quality and reducing sediment flowing to the Reef. Works to be completed within 12 months of contract and graziers has to contribute a specified amount based on a sliding scale

AgForce QLD, Fitzroy Basin Association, QLD G ov DAF; and many other partners.
� A voluntary program designed to assist in improving environmental, ethical, economic factors as well as assist in the productivity, profitability and sustainability of enterprises.
� Assists graziers to compare their performance within the industry and identify opportunities for further improvement. The aggregated information created from these self-assessments is collated for promoting industry performance and stewardship to the supply chain, governments and wider community. Grazing BMP provides graziers with the tools to identify opportunities to refine their business practices, as well as provide a pathway to progress identified issues utilising the most current methods, tools and support available.
� PROVIDES: 1) A self-assessment system used by graziers to benchmark their management practices against standards set by industry utilising best available science across 5 modules Soil Health( SH); Grazing Land Management
