Child Development students took on the challenge of parenthood with the Flour Baby Project! From late-night ‘feedings’ to juggling responsibilities, our Child Development students got a real taste of caring for a little one. It was a full school effort, with teachers and students stepping in to babysit and support these ‘new parents’ along the way! Proud of their hard work and dedication.

We love to see our students step up to the challenge! We are peacock proud of the group of young mathematicians from Southeast High who recently competed in a math tournament at the Mississippi School for Math and Science.

Law and Public Safety students recently got an up-close look at forensics! They’re kicking off an exciting 9-week forensics project based on a real murder case—The Murder at Old Fields! This unique experience gives students hands-on training with real forensic techniques.

It's been said that volunteers don't just give; they grow. Well, members of the Tiger Heart Alliance at Southeast High are giving back and growing. Members of the group recently did a phenomenal job volunteering at the Meridian Animal Shelter. Click on the photo above, and see for yourself!
