We ' re thrilled to share the wonderful news that Madison Adank and Jaden Harbin were crowned as our 2023 Homecoming Queen and King . This selection by their peers highlights the admiration and respect they ' ve earned within our school community . Throughout Homecoming , our entire Homecoming Court shone brightly , embodying the spirit of SEMS with style and elegance . In addition to the festivities , our 7th grade football team triumphed over Northeast while showcasing their incredible teamwork and skill ! Meanwhile , the 8th grade team displayed unwavering determination in a hard-fought match .

Supporting English Language Learners
Our ELL program , led by Mr . Germany , supports students whose first language isn ' t English or who come from non-Englishspeaking households . Mr . Germany ' s dedicated efforts help students improve their English skills in reading , writing , speaking , and listening . Through pre and post-tests , we track their progress , aiming for English proficiency and program graduation . We ' re proud of the linguistic growth our students achieve , and we embrace the diversity and inclusion in our school community .
