Ms . Anthony ’ s class has been learning about the cell cycle this week . The students got to model each phase of mitosis with gummy worms !
5th and 6th grade QUEST students have been using primary and secondary sources to research and collect evidence for a class debate regarding the use of the Atomic Bomb to end WWII . The depth of their conversations and willingness to listen to other points of view has been impressive !
Mrs . Clement ’ s 8th graders had some time for independent work today after they finished their test and she chose to introduce Starbucks mode to them ! They had a choice of the assignment they wished to work on . Some listened to their own music while others enjoyed Mrs . Clement ’ s coffee shop vibes playlist ! The students were so engaged in their work and you can see by some of the smiles that they enjoyed this way of doing independent work !
