Our mission is to provide students with a diverse, innovative education that develops the skills necessary to become productive citizens of the 21st century. We aim to ensure that our students are productive on all levels. That’s why we recognize the importance of community service.
In a partnership effort with a number of local agencies, Career & Technical Education students from our four high schools participate each year in the LCSD Day of Service. The 4th Annual Day of Service will take place on Wednesday, October 9, from 9 AM until 1 PM. On that day, students from each campus will help pre-selected widows and senior citizens who are in need in each of the four school zones by volunteering to provide needed outdoor services such as raking leaves, picking up trash, etc.
Students are encourage to participate in this worthwhile effort. Listed below are links to view a few highlights from the previous volunteer efforts. For information on how you can get involved, contact [email protected].
