Incoming Kindergarten students must provide the following three items at registration:
Certified Birth Certificate Contact: Mississippi State Department of Health/Vital Records

Student’s Social Security Card
Certificate of Immunization Compliance
along with Two proofs of the following residency documentation:
Mortgage document filed homestead exemption, or property deed. If leasing, original home
or apartment lease
State of Mississippi Road and Privilege Tax (Vehicle Tag Receipt)
One current utility (i.e. electric, water, gas, land phone) bill. Bills addressed to a PO Box
will not be accepted. Cell phone bills will not be accepted. The utility bill must be within
30 days of registration
An affidavit from the Assistant Superintendent’s office
Any other documentation that will objectively and unequivocally establish that the parent
or guardian resides within the school district (Driver’s License will not be accepted).
Your child must accompany you. Please bring any hearing or visual aids your child regularly uses. You
will be asked to complete registration forms and parent observation forms while your child is involved in
the academic screening process. Classrooms will NOT be open for visitation; however, you will be
invited to attend an Open House at the beginning of the school year.
Please allow a minimum of one hour to complete the registration process.
Child must be 5 years of age on or before September 1, 2020
