iPad Distribution
7th and 8th grade students received new iPads to use for their academics . This will be a great resource for them to stay on top of their assignments not only at school but also at home . Students were thrilled to log in to their iPads for the very first time .
Academics
Students participated in classroom spelling bees in their English classes . The top two spellers of each class advanced to the school spelling bee . From there , two spellers were named champions from each grade level . These winners will advance to the LCSD spelling bee .
Students participated in the annual science fair . When observing the boards , it was evident that the students understood and executed the scientific progress . Each competitor did an outstanding job .
