West Lauderdale Elementary

4th grade QUEST students lead by a 4 th grader, Natlee Wright, partnered with the Lauderdale
County Animal Shelter and challenged students second through fourth grades to bring dog and
cat food to help the animal shelter feed their animals. Our students collected
900 pounds of dog and cat food
to donate to the shelter. Rocky Rocket from the Animal Shelter visited and showed the students
tools they use at the shelter and also brought a puppy for the kids to love on. We encourage you
to head to the Lauderdale County Animal Shelter for your pet adoptions.
