Accelerating the transition
Six thousand business leaders, investors, policymakers, innovators and sustainability professionals attended Reset Connect London 2026 at Excel London in June, as businesses across the capital and beyond explored how to accelerate the transition to a more sustainable and resilient economy.
Growth
During the two-day event LCCI’ s sustainability committee – spearheaded by chair Mark Jenkison and deputy chair Terri Bloore – held a panel discussion on how businesses can align profit and purpose, and why London continues to be one of the world ' s leading centres for green investment, innovation and sustainable growth.
Flagship
Now in its fifth edition, Reset Connect was the flagship event of London Climate Action Week. It featured 500 speakers, 220 exhibitors, partners and sponsors, five main stages, eight show floor hubs and 30 VIP workshops and roundtables, alongside 1,000 investors, 2,500 VIP guests and 60 accredited press.
Senior, decision-making audience
Sixty-eight per cent of attendees held senior job titles while 70 per cent influenced or were responsible for their organisation’ s sustainability strategy, and 75 per cent had an influence on final purchasing decisions.
For London businesses the event provided a route to new suppliers and customers, gave early sight of regulatory and policy direction, and direct access to capital and corporate demand. Duncan Reid, chief executive and co-founder of Reset Connect said:“ The businesses that came to Excel in June were there to find the suppliers, the partners and the capital that turn a target into a delivered project. That is what London does well, and it is why the capital continues to lead on this globally.”
Circular economy
The conference programme covered climate policy, sustainable finance,
energy transition, ESG, AI, climate resilience and the changing regulatory landscape. The exhibition floor showcased technologies, products and services across clean energy, sustainable finance, climate technology, circular economy, transport, the built environment and nature-based solutions.
Investment and innovation
The Pitch & Invest programme at the event connected climate-focused start-ups and scale-ups with the 1,000 investors and corporate decision-makers attending. Companies pitched across energy, technology, food and agriculture, female-founded businesses and corporate sustainability, competing for a £ 10,000 People’ s Choice prize and a place representing the UK at the Startup World Cup in San Francisco, where the global prize is $ 1 million.
The 2027 edition of Reset Connect takes place on 22 – 23 June at Excel London
