Bear Coast sources coffees from farmers the company knows and cares about , paying growers above fair trade prices and working with communities that follow the best practices for sustainability . The owner
visits the farms where the coffee is grown , spending significant time in Central and South America . In El Salvador , the brand even serves as a philanthropic partner to provide clean water to surrounding communities .
