Jewel s Thank you, Howard, for being our Cover and our featured story in Law of Attraction Magazine!
It's been about four years since we last talked. Let's start with what is happening at HeartMath.
Howard Well, as an organization, HeartMath has been around for about 30 years now. During that
30-year period of time, there's been a steady growth and a steady rise on such a global level. Our
footprint is all over the world and we are continuing to grow and produce new offerings. We are still
growing and evolving. This is very exciting too!
We have customers in over 120 countries now. We also have a new app called the Global Coherent App,
which shows who is using at the same time on a map indicating their general location. We are also
launching serval new training programs, including a very cool new video-based course called The
HeartMath Experience. It shares basic HeatMath techniques and science and feels like an engaging
movie as it does it.
It's a real honor and privilege for me to have the
opportunity to at times be a spokesperson for our
work and to go to places around the world where I
get to see all the enthusiasm that people have
about their new experience relating to the power
and intelligence of their heart. I'll be home here
during the summer (while we're doing this
interview), for a month or so, then starting in
September, I'll be in Scottsdale, Arizona; London,
Dublin, Athens, Brazil and Mexico, all within a
month and a half.
So everything is moving forward for us in a
wonderful way.
Jewel s That's called a lot of airplane flights! I hope you don't mind flying, but then again, you know how
to relax your heart down, as you demonstrate on stage.
Howard Well, I don't like flying as much as I used to. But, yes, those tools come in handy when you're
flying.
Jewel s That's what's so wonderful about HeartMath because it does empower oneself to regulate the
emotions better. Can you get into the specifics about HeartMath and want it does for people?
Howard Well, it's a system based around the heart and the qualities of the 'heart's intelligence - the
heart's intuition. It's a system that is composed of exciting new concepts, scientifically validated
techniques and technology that facilitates the development of heart-brain-body communication.
Everything we've done is supported with scientific research to give it validation and believability. So
that is not just a philosophy, it has an empirical understanding of it.
We share our work in a variety of different way, certainly to our general consumers with our technology
products, books, by listening to our webinars and a lot more. We also do a lot of organizational training
in Fortune 100 companies, government agencies and health care systems. We also train certified
coaches and facilitators/ trainers so that we replicate our work and share it with many more people. We
have thousands of trainers and coaches all around the world that are licensed by us and trained by us to
share HeartMath tools, techniques and methods and our technology. So it's a big system and it's very
complex. It's grown from just a small group of us headed by Doc Childre, the Founder of HeartMah who
believed in the power of the heart and decided to put together a science-based system for learning.
And today, it's a lot more than that I even imagined!
Jewel s I know! I've heard you in presentations because you spoke at a couple of my events, which by
the way, you were phenomenal! Everybody loved your presentation. I know you talked about the power
of the heart and the heart's intuition, especially what happened to people before the collapse of the
World Trade Center on 9-11. That was amazing!
Howard Intuition is a field of information that always exists, and it's information that comes in different
ways at high speeds. It bypasses many of the of back and forth logical processes that we go through, at
times, to reach understandings. It's an information field that is always present. It's something that we
come in and out of contact with.
