- Distilled water, heated - 20 drops of the citrus antimicrobial blend (recipe above) Add the baking soda to the spray bottle, then fill with warm distilled water. Warming the water up a little bit helps the baking soda to dissolve. Add 20 drops of citrus antimicrobial essential oil (recipe above) or use the citrus freshness antimicrobial formula from my website and mix well. Use your spray as needed to freshen up the fabric and upholstery around your house4. Hand sanitizer Making DYI hand sanitizer is super easy and simple - 1 TBSP rubbing alcohol - 1/ 2 tsp vegetable glycerin - 1/ 4 cup aloe vera gel2 - Essential oils: 10 drops cinnamon, 10 drops tea tree oil, 10 drops lemon, 10 drops orange, 3 drops oregano, 3 drops thyme. Or you can add 50 drops of my essential oil antimicrobial formula. To make, mix glycerin, essential oils, and rubbing alcohol in a small bowl. Mix well. Add aloe vera gel and mix again. Transfer hand sanitizer into spray or pump type bottles. Use as you would any other type of hand sanitizer. This product is strong, so do not use on babies or infants younger than two years old. Natural Disinfectant Kitchen Cleaning Solution - 1/ 2 cup vodka or one tablespoon as rubbing alcohol - 3 TBSP castile soap - 1 ½ cups distilled water - Essential oils: 20 drops cinnamon, 20 drops tea tree oil, 20 drops lemon, 20 drops orange, 10 drops oregano, 10 drops thyme. Or you can add 100 drops of my essential oil antimicrobial formula. In a bowl, add the soap, alcohol, and essential oils. Stir well to combine. Add water, stir well. Transfer mix into a 16 oz airtight container (could be a spray bottle). Use this product to disinfect and clean surfaces around the house4. There are many other ways to enjoy the antimicrobial benefits from essential oils, including but not limited to: · Diffuse essential oils with a room diffuser or a car diffuser while you are on the road. · Use scent balls in smaller rooms. · Use a personal inhaler and inhale a few whiffs every now and again. · Add a few drops to bath water. · Create an essential oil spray by adding witch hazel or water to a glass spray bottle and a few drops of the essential oil(s) of your choice. · Apply one or two drops to jewelry. · To use as a supplement, add one drop of essential oil to 4 fluid ounces of a liquid, mixed well and consume3. · Place a drop in an empty supplement capsule3 · Mix one drop of essential oil or essential oil formula with one tablespoon of honey or coconut oil.
