SCENE III
(Later that same afternoon back at KEIKO’s house, MITSU sweeps the floor while KEIKO
sits by the window.)
KEIKO: Mitsu, why don’t you go and visit your mother and spend the night? I’ll cook for
the master tonight.
MITSU: Really?
KEIKO: Yes, go. Go before I have a change of heart.
MITSU: Thank you, Ma’am! I’ll finish here and leave. (MITSU puts the broom away, and
grabs a
