Backyard Birds 4-H Poultry Club
Meets the second Thursday of each month in the 4-H Room at the Laurel County Extension Office . Call 864-4167 for more information .
4-H 24 Carrot Horse Club Meets the third Thursday of each month beginning at 6 p . m . at the Laurel County Extension Office . Call 864-4167 for more information .
Livestock Club ( Ages 9-19 ) This club will meet the fourth Tuesday from January to July at the Laurel County Extension Office . Youth will learn about market livestock and how to raise and properly care for an animal . Species include ; lambs , hogs , goats and steer . They will work through a project book and learn how to judge animals through judging clinics and skill-a-thon contests . Youth do not have to own an animal to participate in the club . Rabbit Club

Shooting Sports Club ( Ages 9-19 ) This club will meet once monthly from February to September at 10 a . m . at the Laurel County Extension Office . Youth will learn shooting as a sport and have the opportunity to compete in district and state target competitions . Disciplines offered are . 22 rifle , BB and archery .
