K nown for its stunning landscapes and year-round sunshine , coastal Orange County , and all of SoCal , has been facing sustainability challenges in recent years . With its growing population and climate change-induced environmental pressures , the area is at a crossroads in its pursuit of a greener lifestyle , with businesses popping up to address innovative solutions , as well as the collective efforts of the community to preserve a more sustainable future .

Orange County ’ s environmentally-conscious residents are actively engaged in sustainability efforts , with grassroots movements and nonprofit organizations working together to raise awareness , implement sustainable practices and advocate for policy changes . From beach cleanups to community gardens and farms , residents are taking tangible steps to preserve their environment and improve the region ’ s future . In this sustainability-focused issue , we highlight some of those efforts .
