When Soul Community Planet ( SCP ) acquired Seven4One in October of 2021 , it was their second California acquisition and the perfect complement to their recently acquired Laguna Riviera Beach Resort . The boutique property features 12 rooms , including two oceanview suites with kitchenettes , and features an outdoor courtyard with fireplace , living wall , as well as a second story sundeck with panoramic ocean views .
Part of downtown Laguna Beach ’ s landscape since 1940 , the building ’ s bones remain unchanged . Remodeled into Hotel Seven4one , Horst Architects used century-old reclaimed wood from buildings demolished in east LA and installed living greenwalls . In keeping with the new owner ’ s “ Scandi-boho ” design aesthetic , the property will be renovated to include new furniture , flooring and zen design features , aligning the property with SCP ’ s healthy and green core values .
Guest rooms will be designed for relaxation and focus , using sustainable and regionallysourced materials .
Called “ Holistic Hospitality ,” every stay does good . The company helps the planet by following green practices , offering earth-friendly food and beverages , and by planting a tree for each guest who stays at the hotel .
