e love a trend that is both aesthetically pleasing and functionally fantastic . Wet rooms that combine a shower and tub fill us with bubbly joy . Sometimes , a product filled soak calls for a quick rinse off in the shower before wrapping yourself in a plush towel . So grab a book or turn on the calming music ( or both ), light some essential oil candles and relax .

According to local designer Lisa McDennon of Lisa McDennon Design , “ This combination of beauty and function works great for people who like to linger in the tub , keeping the area warmer than in an open plan .” Lisa McDennon Design used Calacatta Borghini marble from Venetian Tile & Stone , a Victoria + Albert tub with a Kallista filler , mosaic tile from Waterworks and designed the octagonal pendants made by Del Mar Lighting Company for this wet room in Laguna Beach .
